Warm and ready whenever you are. One small apology: the cover is on its last legs (a new one's on the way) and heavier than it should be — it's a two-person lift, just do your best. Then sink in and take it easy. You're on the Cape.

Plunge Pool

  1. The cover keypad is under the grey lid between the bulkhead and the pool gate — it hinges up from the bottom.
  2. Enter code 1234, tap "Cape Cod Sea", and Open/Close appear.
  3. Set the cover pump aside before opening; back on top when you close up (it drains the rain).
Watch the cover, not the screen — hold the button and let go when the cover reaches the far edge. (The progress bar never finishes. Ignore it.)
Close the cover when you're done for the day — it keeps the leaves out. No diving (it's shallow), and kids supervised, always.
Pool lights — the little black remote lives in the kitchen island drawer closest to the pool. The button marked 1 does everything.
  1. The remote nods off after 30 seconds, so the first press just wakes it — the light between the buttons glows steady for about five seconds.
  2. Press 1 again to turn the lights on, and again to turn them off.
  3. To change color, tap 1 off and straight back on within a second. Keep tapping to cycle through the colors and light shows until you land on one you like.
Nothing happening? That first press probably just woke it up — give 1 another press. Leave it on whatever color suits the evening; no need to set it back before you go.
